Meet Captain William Rogers
Meet Captain William Rogers, A 20 year veteran fishing guide from South Carolina
Captain William Rogers is the dedicated owner and operator of Fishin' Adventures, a top-rated bass fishing guide service based in North Myrtle Beach, SC. With a deep-rooted passion for fishing that began in childhood, Captain William has spent decades refining his expertise in freshwater and inshore fishing. His journey into professional guiding started with competitive fishing in high school tournaments, where he honed his skills in reading water conditions, understanding fish behavior, and mastering advanced angling techniques. Today, he brings that same dedication and enthusiasm to every charter, ensuring an exceptional experience for every guest.
Specializing in Largemouth Bass, Spotted Bass, and Redfish, Captain William’s extensive knowledge of Santee Cooper Lakes, Little River, and Murrells Inlet gives anglers a true advantage on the water. His expertise is built on years of research and hands-on experience, studying seasonal fish movements and their preferred habitats. Whether it's targeting trophy Largemouth Bass in Lake Marion or navigating the tidal flats for bull Redfish, his ability to adapt to changing conditions makes each trip productive and engaging for both novice and experienced anglers.
Beyond providing world-class fishing opportunities, Captain William takes pride in teaching guests seasonal pattern fishing, deep-water strategies, and advanced electronic fish-finding techniques. He offers a personalized approach to guiding, ensuring that each trip is not only educational but also enjoyable. His passion for the sport extends to lure design, creating custom baits used on his charters. As a former FLW Tour co-angler, he gained national recognition after competing in the 2012 Forrest Wood Cup on Lake Lanier, solidifying his reputation as a top-tier angler. Following his retirement from law enforcement, he now dedicates himself fully to sharing his love for fishing through Fishin’ Adventures.
